13 athletes plus one coach in a 15 passenger van for 16 hours! After driving through the night, everyone fell asleep as soon as we saw the sun and the beautiful Colorado scenery.
Trent Larrieu (bottom) and Richard Chambers wrestling during the Men's Freestyle practice Thursday, November 7th.
Richard and Trent pause for a picture while Joe Raygor (yellow shirt) and Colten LaChance roll around. In the background, the men's freestyle team practices small techniques.

Trey Bertram (left) and Luke Vaith wrestle Greco-Roman in the OTC wrestling room. Trey and Luke were "favorites" to the women's freestyle team, especially US Champion Marcie Van Dusen.
Brayden Wienke takes a short break during practice.
Our girls, Natalie Rutt, Kelsey Stauffacher, Kate Perkins and Paige Storm, show off their (fake) tattoos. The girls take liking to Coach Black's philosophies on wrestling, life and many other things.

There is a small difference in how the athletes live compared to the coach...on the left is the room of some of the male athletes and in the middle is the room to a couple of female athletes. On the right is Coach Black's room. Everyone was glad that he is charge of organizing this group.
The cafeteria was one of the best places at the OTC. Everyone loved the food (and it was extremely good for them) and it was "all you can eat." That included soft serve ice cream.

The Incline...2,744 steps over 1.02 miles and an increase of elevation over 2,000 ft.
The average incline was around 40 degrees, but it was as steep as 70 degrees in spots.
Everyone made it to top betweem 27 minutes and 74 minutes. To most, the view is worth it...even if it requires crawling on all fours to get to the top!
